Brodie brings a strong academic foundation and practical expertise to her work. She holds a Doctorate in Coaching and Mentoring, with her research focused on team coaching and team leadership, as well as an MSc in Coaching and People Development. She has presented her published academic research at Oxford Brookes Business School (Jan 2025) and at the Coaching in Leadership and Healthcare Conference, Harvard, Boston, USA (May 2026). Having grown up on a farm, she loves being outdoors and can be found either horse riding, cycling or walking in nature. She has also spent many years working with horses, including breaking two wild Welsh mountain ponies which has been a great way to develop my own self-awareness, as horses have no problem in informing you of what they think and how they experience you as a leader. For over a decade, she has been developing her mindfulness awareness and practice, stating, 'This has undoubtedly supported me personally and professionally, developing greater awareness of self, and having greater ability for self-management, super useful when in stressful or high stakes environments'.
